Counselor (Remote in Pennsylvania)

Counseling For PROGRESS, LLC provides professional counseling services to diverse clients of all ages through telehealth and in-person sessions at two offices in the Pittsburgh area. We are seeking counselors licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

 

Role Description

Since our practice owner also provides counseling, she understands that our success in helping clients depends upon our counselors. We treat our counselors with empathy and flexibility.

 

We value you as a professional and want you to focus on providing therapy. We provide office spaces, software, advertising, administration, and billing services.

 

As a contractor, you have flexibility about when and where you see clients. Want to do only telehealth? No problem. Want to focus on individual therapy and not couples/family or vice-versa? No problem. Want to work only certain times of the day? No problem. Want to focus on your specialized niche? No problem. You set the schedule that works best for you.

 

Qualifications

You must have a full unrestricted license to practice in Pennsylvania as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed marriage and family therapist, or licensed psychologist. Credentialing with insurance companies is preferred but not required.

 

Qualified applicants must:

·       Be licensed (see above);

·       Pass a criminal background check, FBI clearance, and child welfare clearance;

·       Comply with HIPAA and all other applicable laws;

·       Complete documentation in a timely manner; and

·       Maintain professional liability insurance.

 

Compensation is competitive and negotiable.
